Farm Pickup

  • We do not have a retail store at our farm.  Only online purchases scheduled for pickup will be available for on-farm pickup.
  • $125 minimum for all orders (including pickup orders).
  • At online checkout you will be given the ability to select between having your order shipped or collecting your order from our farm in Middle Island, NY.  If you choose the pickup option, you will be provided a calendar to select your pickup date / time.  Please know that the days available for pickup are very limited at this time.
  • Only orders scheduled for pickup on the date/time scheduled will be distributed.  No exceptions.

Cooking Tips

  • Slow Cooked Lamb and Vegetable Stew: Start by browning the seasoned stew meat in a pan to enhance its flavor and develop a beautiful caramelized exterior. Transfer the browned lamb to a slow cooker, adding a medley of vegetables like carrots, potatoes, onions, and celery. Add a blend of herbs, spices, and a flavorful broth, allowing the slow cooker to work its magic as the flavors meld together over hours of gentle simmering.
  • Moroccan Tagine: Begin by browning the lamb meat in a heavy-bottomed pot or traditional tagine to create a rich, caramelized crust that adds depth to the dish. Layer the lamb meat with an assortment of vegetables, such as sweet potatoes, bell peppers, and tomatoes, creating a colorful mosaic of flavors. Infuse the tagine with a blend of Moroccan spices like cumin, coriander, cinnamon, and paprika, allowing the dish to slowly simmer and the flavors to meld together.
