Cooking Tips

Our grass-finished beef & bacon burger patties strike the perfect balance of rich beef flavor and salty bacon. Because they’re still leaner than grain-finished burger blends, the goal is to build a crisp, caramelized crust without overcooking the interior. Use moderate heat and avoid pressing the patties so they stay tender and juicy all the way through.

General Tips:

  • Cook over medium or medium-high heat—just enough to form a crust, not so hot that the patties dry out
  • Sear 3–4 minutes per side without pressing down to retain juices
  • Rest the patties for a couple of minutes before serving so the juices redistribute
  • Pair with simple toppings—cheddar, onions, or pickles let the beef-and-bacon flavor shine

Grill or Skillet Tips:

  • Preheat to medium and lightly oil the grates or skillet
  • Let the patties cook undisturbed to develop a crisp exterior
  • Flip only once for the best crust
  • Pull off heat at 140–145°F to prevent drying out while keeping them perfectly juicy
