Cooking Tips

Our sweet bourbon marinated skinless chicken breast is naturally juicy and pre-seasoned for quick meals.  Being a pastured chicken breast, they benefit from gentle, controlled cooking to stay juicy. Because pasture-raised birds are more active, their meat is firmer and can dry out quickly if overheated—so aim for even heat and stop cooking right at 165°F.

Cooking Ideas:

  • Pan-Seared: Sear gently in a skillet, then finish on low heat with broth or butter
  • Oven-Baked: Bake at 375°F until just done—covering with foil helps retain moisture
  • Grill: Grill over medium heat for a smoky flavor without drying the meat
  • Stir-Fry: Slice thinly and cook quickly over medium-high heat to keep pieces tender

General Tips:

  • Pound to even thickness for uniform cooking
  • Use moderate heat—high heat can make lean meat tough
  • Let rest 5 minutes before slicing so juices stay in the chicken
