Do I need a Box subscription to purchase meats from Acabonac Farms?

No.  Not at all.  All of our items can be purchased a la carte, however savings off our retail prices are best when ordering a customized subscription box.

How does it work?

Simply select the frequency of Box delivery (e.g., every week, two weeks, three weeks, etc..), select the products that you’d like to include in your recurring Box, and we will do the rest!  Sign up easily, amend, pause, or cancel at any time.  The more you add to your Box, the more you save.  Call us to assist if needed (631-731-2520).  We are here to help.

What does it mean to ‘lock in the price’?

When you create and subscribe to a Box, the price of each of the products in the Box locks for the future.  Meaning, if we increase prices of our products it will not impact the price of the products in your subscription Box.  We’ve done this for the past several years, and we’ve made it work.  We hope to be able to continue to do this.  If you work to commit to us, we will work hard to commit to you.  Food inflation is a real issue.  We get it.

Are there any limits to the number of cuts / variety of cuts that I can include in my subscription Box?

The only requirement is the minimum number of products we require to create your Box.  Currently the minimum number of items required for an Acabonac Farms box is 8, and the minimum number of Acabonac Pet items required is 20.  There is no maximum threshold.  And there are no restrictions on the variety of products you can include in your Box.

What happens if a product in my Box is out of stock when the order is scheduled to ship?

We do everything we can to avoid these situations.  But sometimes it happens.  When we are out of stock on a product we will reach out to you prior to sending your order to offer substitutes.  If you’d prefer not to substitute any products, we can refund the amount of the product that is out of stock.  Finally, if you’d prefer to wait until we are re-stocked, we can do that as well.  The point is, the choice is yours.

Can I have more than one Box subscription?

Absolutely.  There are no limits to the number of Box subscriptions you can have at any given time.

When will my subscription Box arrive?

Your first order will be sent immediately.  Thereafter, you will receive your Box upon the frequency you choose when you place your order.  Emails are sent to keep you informed every step of the way.

How do I cancel my Box?
