A membership in Acabonac Farms quarterly CSA is more than simply receiving a selection of beef every month. Your membership is an investment in small farming and building relationships within our community. Your quarterly purchase allows us to plan for the future, helping ensure the stability of farm operations while giving us the opportunity to share the best of what we are producing with our neighbors.
Each month your CSA box will contain the farmers choice of 10-15 pounds of our beef, pork, chicken and lamb. This selection will include a variety of ground meat, sausages, offal, bones, roasts and steaks from our regenerative ranch.
A quarterly Acabonac Farms Long Island CSA share costs $510 and includes 3 successive monthly pickups from our Middle Island farm. The quantity of meat in your share will always be a value over buying the items individually at retail, so our CSA is a great way to keep your family stocked with high quality grass fed meat.
Your quarterly share will automatically renew at the end of your 3 month period for the next quarter.
When Do I Pick Up My CSA Box?
Your CSA box will be available for pickup at our Middle Island farm on the second Saturday of the month at 9am.
We're very excited to be offering pasture tours from 8 am - 9 am prior to the start of pickups (weather permitting). We'll be available to answer questions about cattle, regenerative agriculture and the history of Acabonac Farms. Bring your family, friends and dogs for a relaxing stroll through nature and a unique look at Long Island cattle ranching.
What If I Am Unable To Pick Up My CSA Box?
Being a small farm we are unable to change pickup dates or times for CSA box pickup. If you are unable to pick up your box please notify us 24 hours in advance. We will then hold your box for pickup on the next pickup day.
Can My CSA Box Be Shipped?
Our CSA boxes are only available for pickup on designated pickup days. If you would like product shipped to you we invite you to check out some of our other boxes, or build your own recurring subscription with any products on our website!
What If I Don't Like Pork or Lamb?
Let us know when you place your order! We'll substitute pork or lamb based on your preferences.
