Cooking Tips

Our lamb rib chops are tender, beautifully marbled, and full of clean, sweet lamb flavor—making them one of the more elegant cuts to cook. A quick 20–30 minute oil-based marinade boosts browning and gives you a more forgiving cooking window. For the best texture, cook rib chops to medium-rare to medium (135–145°F).

Cooking Ideas:

  • Pan-Seared Rib Chops: Sear over medium heat with garlic, herbs, and butter for a golden, aromatic crust
  • Grilled Chops: Cook over medium heat for a smoky char without overcooking the tender interior
  • Oven Finish: After searing, finish briefly in a 375°F oven for perfectly even doneness
  • Herb-Crusted Chops: Coat with rosemary, thyme, oil, and garlic for a classic, bright flavor

General Tips:

  • Bring chops to room temperature before cooking for consistent results
  • Use moderate heat—lamb rib chops cook quickly and can dry out on high heat
  • Rest 5 minutes before serving to allow juices to settle
  • Season simply; rib chops shine with herbs, citrus, garlic, pepper, or a light spice rub
