One of the promises Acabonac Pet makes to customers is that our dog food travels “from our ranch to their bowl.” But some might wonder exactly how that works. We thought we’d share some insight into what you can expect from raw dog food delivery.
Keep in mind that every serving of Acabonac Pet dog food comes from 100% grass-fed, pasture-finished beef from our very own Acabonac Farms. It contains no artificial ingredients, no steroids, no antibiotics. Our farm also never uses any type of chemical, including weed killers or pesticides.
What you get delivered to your door is pure, nutritious beef created to give your dog what their body really craves.
What Raw Dog Food Can You Get Delivered?
Acabonac Pet offers delivery of all its different products for dogs. Of course, this includes grass-fed beef patties combined with fruits and vegetables. You also can get other food your dog will love delivered to your door, including marrow bones, beef liver, beef heart, mixed bones and beef tongue. Everything comes from cattle raised at our Long Island ranch, Acabonac Farms.
How Much Is Included In Each Order?
Each Acabonac Pet order includes beef patties that are 65% raw beef, 33% fruits and vegetables sourced from American farms, and 2% essential vitamins and minerals. Each 12-pound box contains 24 individually wrapped and frozen beef patties. Patties should be kept frozen until ready for use. We also provide a complete breakdown of everything that goes into each patty.
How Often Should You Order?
That depends on how much your dog eats. As a rule of thumb, most dogs eat between 2% and 3% of their weight each day. Puppies may require as much as 50% to 75% more food, depending on their growth rate. We provide an estimate of how many patties your dog will need each day based on their weight.
Can You Set Up An Automatic Subscription?
Yes! Most customers prefer to do it this way. Once you’ve established how much food you need, you can set up automatic shipments with us. That way, you know you have a steady supply of raw dog food in supply. There is no long-term commitment required. If you wish to cancel shipments, you can do so at any time.
What Do I Do With Each Delivery?
Each delivery will arrive completely frozen. We only use carefully selected environmentally friendly packaging and an appropriate amount of dry ice to ensure perfect delivery every time.
Keep all the patties frozen until 6 to 8 hours before you’re ready to feed your dog. At that time, move the patties into the refrigerator (but remember to measure the amount of food given to your dog while the patty is frozen). Patties are still good even if they are in the refrigerator for two to three days. Serve in a stainless steel bowl with plenty of water nearby.
